Can you lose weight by chewing gum and spitting out the saliva?
I have a weigh-in in a couple of hours (for weight watchers) and I had a pretty bad week eating-wise. I’m trying to get my weight down as much as possible for the weigh-in and I was wondering if chewing gum and spitting the saliva out can help me lose a little extra weight. I don’t really care if the weight loss is permanent, I just want the number on the scale to be as low as possible to help counter my week this week.
I generally tend to eat a diet with fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean protein, and fat-free dairy. I usually try to drink enough water (with the exception of weigh-in days where I don’t drink as much (I don’t eat or drink anything at all 4 hours or so before the weigh in).
No… Just go in, hold your head up high. Weigh in, and learn from your mistakes. No one is going to yell at you. We have all been there.
