The connection between breast cancer and diabetes?
I have breast cancer (stage 3, invasive). If surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy fact (4 rounds AC 4 rounds taxotere, 18 ~ hercepten I have 5 more Herceptin treatments to go). My scores are dropping, slowly but surely. I have more than weight, but not both. I have no family history of diabetes, and have recently been diagnosed with diabetes. The tests to date have indicated that not doing my pacra enough insulin. My diet does not contain a large amount of carbohydrates or sugars, and in fact since he was diagnosed with cancer, my diet has included a large number of organic foods (fruits, vegetables and organic meat and chicken). Also I am a positive person. I had some weight loss, especially since radiation ended 4 months ago. The symptoms that led to evidence of high blood sugar was neuropathy in the feet (usually an after effect of diabetes). Anyone know about the connection between cancer and diabetes? Caused by chemotherapy, perhaps? or just wishful thinking?
Do you use steroids like prednisone? That can cause diabetes.
