Weight Loss Surgery Protein Shakes

If you have had the LAP-BAND surgery, what kind of supplements do you take daily?
I know it's not as supplementation with increased pounds, but I was just curious .. What makes protein shakes three times a day, or just take mvl with minerals?? I'm really seriously considering surgery, tired of the roller coaster of weight loss programs. Any other advice for me about how her life has changed for the better or worse after surgery?
I had the lap band 4-16-08 and I am 50 kilos and lots and lots of inches. I take a multiple vitamin plus minerals and my other medications. I was on insulin 4 times a day and now I'm on medication by mouth two a day and if I lose more weight, I was told would probably be off all the same. My blood pressure medicine was cut in half. I can do water aerobics for exercise because I have two knee replacements and a metal rod and screws in the back. No I have to take a medication for arthritis because I had the surgery. After leaving the diet after surgery (all liquids for the first week) and then soft foods, for me it was an easy operation (I know surgery is not easy, but this was for me after all other surgeries I've had in my life. I just go from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the hospital the day of surgery without pain …. drugs required after the surgery, which he was just upset that it was tolerable. He never did anything except for some Tylenol (two crushed) for a headache, I had and told me that because of things they gave me to put myself to sleep, you probably have one and I did and the Tylenol worked and I started driving on Friday, surgery was on Wednesday and Thursday was too tired to drive and I have been on the road since then. I try very hard to protein powders, but after a while, but there is no way to face my nose. I love yogurt are out .. watch sugar content, my nutritionist said no more than 7 grams of sugar. I try to be really in the diet, but my surgeon told me all the cheats and told me how to cheat without everything ruinning. He said it's not for every day and I do not cheat. Sometimes you just wants something and if you have a bit of it, is satisfied. It is not a magic bullet, I have to work every day for what I have done. To get your mind set on changing lifestyle is difficult. You have to learn what kind of hunger you have, head hunger or hunger hunger. Still I have problems with hunger and the head is improved, but the times are This is a pain.
