OUCH! How I can make my soup less spicy?
I made some vegetable soup. The recipe calls for red pepper flakes, but made it too spicy for me to eat! How I can calm him down? "I can put milk in it and make it more" cream "or that would be gross? Here's the recipe if needed. I also added salt and pepper and I only put in three ounces of spinach leaves, because that is all I had. It is a Weight Watcher recipe. Pot zero points Soup POINTS slow: 0 INSTRUCTIONS 10 oz spinach, baby leaves 2 medium carrot (s), chopped 2 medium celery stalk, chopped 1 large onion (s), chopped 1 clove garlic medium (s), chopped 4 cups canned vegetable broth, diced tomatoes 28 oz 2 piece bay leaf 1 tablespoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 / 2 teaspoon pepper red pepper, crushed Place all ingredients in a slow cooker, cover and cook on high power for 5 hours. Remove bay leaves, stir and serve. Yields about 1 cup per serving has been taken … I have to master it so you do not have to throw it all away.
Spicy is a difficult question to undo. say put in a little skim milk and boil some more. might work.
